Już
Jacek Kleyff i Orkiestra na Zdrowie

Tekst: J. Kleyff; muzyka J. Kleyff i O.N.Z.

Już nie czytam prawie wcale,
może tylko pamiętniki,
no i wiersze, te niektóre,
co pasują do muzyki.

Ja świat czytam zamiast biblii (tak, jak biblię),
kartki to moje powieki,
dni kolejne, to rozdziały,
no a wieki - biblioteki;
ludzi czytam po ich oczach,
dużo więcej nie potrzeba;
miejsca - po zaśpiewach,
las - po drzewach i wykrotach.

Mostem jadę kolejowym,
czytam szyny kół stukotem,
trochę jakbym miał kopyta;
rzekę czytam całym sobą;
rzekę całym sobą czytam
w skwar lipcowy
i z odbicia lin mostowych, Świętokrzyskich;
góry czytam od początku...

...góry czytam od początku,
ale także zaraz potem,
co po skroniach zawsze spływa,
wytoczony ich widokiem.
Piasek czytam, leżąc kłodą,
miasto - autobusem,
samolotem - świat daleki,
w dole miasta, pola, rzeki...

Rzekę czytam całym sobą,
maj zielony czytam węchem
i oczami, nad drzewami,
jak zachcianki mkną po niebie
chmury... - czemu? Nie wiem...
...może, aby spotkać Ciebie...
..fruną, żeby być ozdobą
i nad Łodzią spotkać Ciebie;
"Łódź - Warszawa" - czytam niebem.
Rzekę czytam całym sobą.

Już nie czytam prawie wcale,
może tylko pamiętniki,
no i wiersze, te niektóre,
co pasują do muzyki,
bo:
powyzużywane w koło
środki czysto literackie...
...ja tym śpiewem szparko ciekę
wbrew zatorom i przeszkodom,
poomackiem i znienackiem...

...Ciebie czytam tak jak rzekę...

"NOW - '02/2004"

I don't read almost anything now,
maybe only memoirs,
and poems, some poems
that go with music.

I read the world instead of the bible (as the bible),
my eyelids are the pages,
the days which follow are chapters,
and centuries are libraries;
I read people by their eyes,
there is no need for much more;
places - by their chants,
a forest - by its trees and burrows.

I ride down a railway bridge,
I read the rails by the knocking of wheels,
it's a bit like I had hooves;
I read a river all by myself;
all by myself I read the river
in the scorch of July
and from the reflection of Świętokrzyskie bridge-ropes ;
I read mountains from the beginning...

...I read mountains from the beginning,
but then also by the sweat
that always flows down my temples,
caused by the sight of these mountains.
I read sand, lying like a log,
a city - I read by bus,
by plane I read the far-away world,
cities, fields, rivers below...

I read a river all by myself,
a green May I read by smell
and by eyes, above the trees,
like caprices run around the sky
clouds ? - why? I do not know?
...maybe to meet you...
...they fly, to be an ornament
and meet you above Łódź;
"Łódź - Warszawa" - I read by the sky and heaven.
I read the river all by myself.

I don't read almost anything now,
maybe only memoirs,
and poems, some poems
that go with music,
'cause:
overused are all over
clearly literary means...
...I flow rapidly by this singing
against clogs and obstacles,
blindly and suddenly...

...I read you like a river...
